The AAPI or Anonymization Application Programming Interface is an application related to the Anon Tool. The Anon Tool is the open source implementation of the AAPI which concurrently has a version of 1.2 and can be downloaded from host web sites for distribution. The newest version is very stable that it can be executed under the Debian systems. Ready to use applications are included in the Anonymization API like Netflow traces version 5 and version 9 which were recorded using the tcpdump format. Other general tools included in the installation package of Anonymization API are the tools for anonymizing tcpdump trace.
